Marketing & Communications Specialist

North Hollywood, CA
The Marketing & Communications Specialist position is responsible for supporting the department’s initiatives and executing assigned marketing projects. This position will provide continuous support for social media, web updates, email campaigns, promotional merchandise, and proposals, among other administrative duties for the marketing department.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Marketing collateral: one-sheets/booklets; presentations; ad design
  • Proposals (copy & design)
  • Website updates
  • Manage the firm’s social media channels: create integrated social campaigns that drive the overall marketing-communications goals and brand initiatives
  • Brand management
  • Promotional merchandise: manage vendors, oversee inventory
  • Support thought leadership development that increases brand awareness and positions the partners as subject-matter experts through conferences, events, roundtables, and more
    • Support partners & staff in writing content for the firm’s website and social media platforms
  • Serve as a brand ambassador
Job Qualifications:
Individuals who will thrive in this role will bring critical thinking, emotional intelligence, an executive presence, intellectual curiosity, and be results-driven. The successful candidate should also have the following skills:
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in accounting, professional services, or other B2B marketing-communications role.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills; comfortable advising and coaching all levels of staff, including partners of the firm
  • Intermediate skills with Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Intermediate to Advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Experience drafting proposals/responses to RFPs
  • Experience managing and driving engagement on social media for a professional services firm
  • Solid understanding of all mainstream social media platforms
  • Familiar with Hootsuite, CoSchedule, or similar
  • Strong attention to detail & organization skills
  • Ready to foster a culture of collaboration & growth
  • Strong multi-tasker who can manage multiple projects on tight deadlines
  • An optimistic, self-starter with the drive and enthusiasm to navigate through ambiguity to produce high-quality results
  • Committed to quality and continuous improvement / Stays current with evolving technologies, platforms, and best practices
Ideal candidates would also have these skills/experience:
  • Photography and/or Video production skills
  • Google Ads & Analytics experience
  • CRMs (Hubspot, Salesforce, or other)
  • Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent experience may also be considered
