Audit Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Our Audit Managers provide leadership and supervision to audit staff (Associates, Senior Associates and Supervisors) and manage external audit engagements. They provide detailed analysis of findings and coordinate all analytical, technical and research tasks. Managers work with clients, partners and audit staff in all areas of the audit process, including risk assessment, audit plan programs and preparing audit reports.
  • Experience in audits of employee benefit plans, 401(k) plans, or labor organizations a definite plus 
  • Interest and knowledge of data analytics a plus 
  • Knowledge of payroll taxes and payroll systems recommended 
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, etc. (We use Thomson Reuters suite of software for Audit work).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills 
  • Strong motivation to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client service 
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team 
  • Ability to successfully train and mentor staff 
Job Qualifications:
  • BA or BS degree required      
  • CPA license required 
  • 6+ years audit experience within a public accounting firm 
  • Must have a reliable vehicle for travel to client offices, local travel is required 40-50% of time.
